Team Message: 2024 Will be Insane

Before diving into the recap, let’s fast-forward to the not-so-distant future. Josie, our Founder and CEO, recently pulled back the curtain on some awesome news and updates via Twitter thread. Here’s the TL;DR on what’s next with the game, the Drifters collection, and why 2024 will totally blow your mind.

Paradigm Found: The Game. Our upcoming game, Paradigm Found, will be an immersive browser-based experience where your choices help determine the narrative. Imagine an interactive art book with a deep economy. Set in The Paradigm Lost, it'll be a place to unravel mysteries, gather resources, and craft your destiny in the metaverse.

We’re Opening it to Testing. We won't be stuck in a rabbit hole for years making Paradigm Found. That's why we're going to test the initial version with a select group, laying the groundwork for a smooth public launch next year. We’ll take any feedback and insights from testers to improve what we’ve already built on as we continually expand the game post-launch.

Dropping the Drifters Collection. As many of you lore-savvy know, how to bring the Drifters back into The Paradigm is the biggest mystery. And with the game, you’ll be placed right smack dab in the middle of it all, leading up to the next big chapter and launch of Drifters. Many questions will be answered about Drifters’ place in TPL – while new ones will most surely arise.

Say Hello to Paradigm Lost, the Production House. All of these happenings fall under the umbrella of our newly formed parent company, Paradigm Lost. It’ll be our home for creating new art, experiences, and realizing our vision to be a different type of media company. Paradigm Found is just the beginning of this incredible new chapter. Stay tuned for its official rollout very soon.

We’ve been working hard day and night to create a game that’s never been done in Web3, and we can promise you that it’ll be social, challenging, and just plain old fun – even for those who aren’t into NFTs or crypto. So enjoy the Holidays, buckle up for a wild ride in 2024, and have no doubts that there is indeed no better time to be a Broker!

Now, let’s get into the recap of what we’ve been up to in the second half of 2023.

Latest Releases Create Mech Magic

Snap Shack Trial Mode Activated

This fall, the Snap Shack opened for trial, allowing anyone to preview their dream Mechs in a sandbox environment. The Super Nice Assembly Processor (S.N.A.P) is your one-stop shop for Mech parts, assembly, and customization. And once you’ve assembled your Mech, download them as fully-rigged 3D assets ready for metaverse adventures.

Mix ‘n Mech with Disassembly

Unveiled on August 7th, the Mech Disassembly feature gave holders the power to deconstruct their Genesis Mechs, paving the way for deeper customization and evolution within the CyberBrokers ecosystem. Create a killer Mech, then recoup all your parts to experiment with the over 17 billion possible Mech-making combinations.

Give Your Mech a Repaint Job

October 26th introduced the Mech Repaint tool, offering a fresh palette of colors for personalizing Genesis Mechs, enhancing the visual diversity of your Mech fleet. It’s a completely free customization tool with no cost, gas, or transaction fees. So head on over to find that perfect color combination that suits your CyberBroker and Mech combo.

Beta Missions Commence

Our second season of lore and questing kicked off this past summer with Version Beta Missions. The initialization of Version Beta in The Paradigm Lost launched a race to explore the uncharted and newly unveiled Beta Worlds.

Participants of Missions aligned with one of three Factions, each vying for control of new realms and seeking to shape the future of the metaverse by uncovering The Paradigm’s past. The winning Faction earned the privilege of claiming the first Beta World, and even got first dibs on exclusive rewards.

We were excited to open up Version Beta Missions not only to our CyberBroker and Genesis Mech holders, but to a group of collab communities including: Avastars, Azuki, BasedAF, BAYC, CloneX, Cool Cats, CryptoPunks, Doodles, FLUF World, Meebits, Moonbirds, OnChainMonkey, Pudgy Penguins, and Renga.

Over six weeks, players from our own as well as collab communities embarked on story-driven individual Missions and collaborated with their Faction members to outmaneuver their rivals in lore-infused challenges.

Their adventures ranged from navigating web3 metaverses and creating their own 3D Faction hangouts (check out The Winners Circle, Wayfarer Bureau, and Shepherds of Soleia Faction bases), to unraveling intricate puzzles in a Hyperfy world, vividly brought to life from our story using AI.

Through Version Missions, players uncovered enigmatic anomalies and vital clues about The Paradigm’s origins, while also gathering points for their Faction. In a thrilling conclusion, The Wayfarer Bureau emerged victorious, claiming the first pick of our Version Beta-exclusive rewards.

As a companion to Missions, we also published six standalone short stories, offering a deeper dive into the mysteries of the Beta Worlds. You can immerse yourself in “The Secrets of the Beta World” story here, or enjoy them as audiobooks here.

It’s all leading up to the next extension of our narrative via Paradigm Found: The Game. Stay tuned to see what other mysteries of The Paradigm will be revealed.

Rewards & New Mech Mod Collection

At the end of a fun and intense six-week period of missions, challenges, and puzzles, we announced the Version Beta rewards available to all those who braved the mysteries of the Beta Worlds, which included a limited-edition Accolade art piece NFT, a bundle of Genesis Mech Parts, and a claim for one of the first-ever Mech Mods - a new collection announced at the finale of Missions.

For participants of Missions, we revealed nine Version Beta-exclusive Mech Mods in total, spread across three sets of rarity and divided among the three Factions. The winning Faction, The Wayfarer Bureau, got first dibs on which set of Mech Mods they wanted to secure.

Mech Mod rewards will be claimable with the Paradigm Found game launch. To make sure you’re among the first to know when the claim goes live, subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Twitter.

Gratitude and Gearing Up

Keep your eyes peeled as we forge ahead into new narratives, metaverses, and of course the Paradigm Found game right around the corner. This past year was incredibly fun and meaningful. Seeing the community’s reaction to things like the Snap Shack and Beta Missions gave us the warm and fuzzies.

Thanks to everyone who’s been along for the ride so far, and everyone recently jumping on board. We’re taking CyberBrokers to a whole new level next year, and you’re riding shotgun. So here’s to a fun second half of 2023 – and to an incredible 2024!
